This is a Cartoon Network mini-series about two brothers, Wirt and Greg, who find themselves lost in a mysterious place called the Unknown and try to stay one step ahead of a fearsome beast that tracks their every step. With the help of a foul-tempered bluebird named Beatrice, the brothers travel across the strange land in hopes of finding their way home.

This show has a sometimes creepy, vintage aesthetic and includes many interesting side characters that are not always human. Every song on the soundtrack, which features enchanting lullabies and cute ditties, fits the atmosphere perfectly. This may be aimed at children, but adults will love this short and sweet tale of what possibilities might exist between life and death.
