Chamber of Commerce Business Book Group

The Merrimack Chamber of Commerce’s Business Engagement Committee and the Merrimack Public Library will be partnering in 2018 to offer a monthly Business Book Group.  We will read books covering a variety of topics that are of interest to business people, including leadership, finance, hiring and strategic planning.  This will also be a great opportunity to network with fellow business leaders.  The group will meet monthly on the second Tuesday from 7-8:30 pm in the Library’s Lowell Room.

June's book selection is Making Meaning: How Successful Businesses Deliver Meaningful Customer Experiences by Steve Diller, Nathan Shedroff and Darrel Rhea.

"...the authors of Making Meaning observe, define, and describe the meaningful customer experience. By consciously evoking certain deeply valued meanings through their products, services, and multidimensional customer experiences, they argue, companies can create more value and achieve lasting strategic advantages over their competitors.... The book outlines a plan of action and describes the attributes of a meaning-centric innovation team." - description from Amazon

Please register on the Library’s  website so staff can plan accordingly.  Circulating copies of the book can be picked up at the Library's Circulation Desk.  Any questions can be sent to Library Director Yvette Couser at ycouser@merrimacklibrary.org
