Merrimack History Volume II Signing

The Merrimack Historical Society will be bringing the long-awaited Volume II of Merrimack's town history to the Library for purchase and signing. This follow up to Volume I adds the 19th century from 1800-1899.  Much changed in Merrimack during that time, as the railroad was built on our side of the river, enabling business and industry to grow along the Merrimack and Souhegan Rivers and create the four villages of Reeds Ferry, Souhegan, Thorntons Ferry, and South Merrimack. This volume includes many unique events as well as old homes and all the vital statistics for one hundred years.

Copies purchased directly from the Historical Society will include town maps from 1858 and 1892.
Volume I and II will be available for $40 each. Cash and check only.
