"Black Lives, Native Lands, White Worlds: A History of Slavery in New England" Author Visit: Prof. Jared Hardesty

As part of the Town's 275th Anniversary Celebration, we invite you to learn about African American history in New England from Jared Hardesty, associate professor of history at Western Washington University and a scholar of colonial America, the Atlantic world, and the histories of labor and slavery. 

Professor Hardesty will discuss his book, Black Lives, Native Lands, White Worlds: A History of Slavery in New England. We will be giving away a free, signed copy of the book to the first 10 registrants.
