Town Employment Opportunity Available

The Environmental Coordinator oversees environmental operations to ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals, works within Public Works and other Town departments to maintain environmental management and monitoring programs, and maintains complete and clear documentations for environmental operations for reference purposes. The Coordinator will also be responsible for maintenance and updating of the Town’s stormwater GIS system.

Minimum Requirements: Associates degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and at least two years of progressive experience with stormwater or water quality inspections and enforcement of environmental regulations OR any equivalent education and experience that demonstrates the possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as determined by the Town. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm with additional hours as required. Starting wage between $28.04 and $33.00 per hour, DOE. Health, life, and short-term disability insurance premiums are currently 100% employer-paid. Includes paid vacation, sick, and personal leave, and participation in the New Hampshire Retirement System.
