Teen Study Hours

A quiet, designated space for teens to study for their finals. The Teen Area and Lowell Rooms will be reserved just for teens on Tuesday June 11  through Friday, June 14 from 11 am to 5 pm, but feel free to come in before or stay later.

We will provide snacks and some basic studying supplies as well as stress busters in case you need a break.

Spring Break Hangout for Teens

Looking for somewhere to chill during vacation? Drop by the teen space - we've been slowly but surely revamping it to make it more awesome and we want you to see it! We'll have snacks, giveaways, games, and crafts for you, or you're always welcome to just come and read. Youth Services librarians will be on hand in case you need book recommendations or you just want to chat about whatever you're obsessed with lately.

We'll be hanging out on Tuesday 4/23 and Wednesday 4/24. Come by either day or both!

No registration required, free and open to all teens.

Teen Study Hours

During mid-terms at Merrimack High School, the Merrimack Public Library will be offering our teen space exclusively for students to study on a drop-in basis.

Snacks and study supplies will be provided, free of charge.

Good luck on your exams!

Comics Club

For grades 5-10.

Join us for our monthly meeting! This month we are reading Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Vol. 4: I Kissed a Squirrel and I liked it by Ryan North, and the Knife's Edge by Hope Larson.

Ask at the desk in the children's room to pick up the books ahead of time. We'll talk about the comics, have a snack, and then draw our own comics! Didn't finish the book? Come anyway - just know that there may be spoilers.

Knit, Stitch or Crochet

**This event moves to the Teen Area on this date only as the Lowell Room will be used for the upcoming Book Sale.

The Library is hosts a weekly group for those who enjoy handwork.  Join others who knit, stitch or crochet. We see it as a chance for mentoring, for creative sharing and for camaraderie!  All levels of experience are welcome although formal instruction will not be provided.
