The library building will be closed to the public until further notice but our book drops are open as we gradually begin our phased re-opening plan. Thanks for your continued patience.

Computers, Printing, Copying, & Scanning Services

Public Access Computers

The Merrimack Public Library has many computers on both levels for the public to use. Each is loaded with Microsoft Office software and internet access. Use your Merrimack Library card to log in, or ask for a guest pass at the Circulation or Reference Desks.

The Library also has laptops available for on-site use. Please view our Laptop Circulation Policy for more information.

Wireless Internet Access

The library's public access Wi-Fi will remain active for the length of the COVID-19 closure. Residents are permitted to use the parking spaces nearest the main library entrance to access the Wi-Fi from their cars. If you are unable to make it to the Library to use our Wi-Fi, Xfinity is providing other hotspots throughout Merrimack.

During business hours, patrons visiting the Library with their own wireless-ready laptop computers can simply boot up their network software and connect to "Library." This non-secure connection is only available during the Library's operating hours. Wi-Fi users are responsible for protecting their own privacy. The service is available on both floors of the Library, although signal strength may vary. Please view our Public Internet Access Policy for more information.

Printing, Photocopying, and Scanning

There is a coin-operated printer/copier/scanner at the north end of the building, near the periodicals. It is capable of making black and white or color copies on letter- or legal-sized paper. Cost of black and white printed pages is $0.10 per side. Cost for color printing is $0.50 per side. The machine accepts coins and $1 bills.

Wireless printing of black and white as well as color documents is available at the Reference Desk. Wireless printing is limited to letter-sized paper only and is subject to the same costs noted above.
