Did you know the Children's Room circulates interactive kits for kids of all ages?
In addition to our Lego kits, Magformers, Snap Circuits, and Ozobots, we are now circulating baking kits and Launchpads!
Our baking kits consist of a book and the (non-food) materials to help you bake a corresponding dessert. Kits might include cookie cutters, cake pans, candy molds, or more! These kits were created in part as a partnership with a Girl Scout Silver Award project. Thank you!
Launchpads are unique learning tablets with specially curated content for a given age and subject area, such as Grades 2- 3 math or preschool letter recognition. They don't connect to the internet, so kids can explore the games and stories while their grown-ups stress less! These Launchpads were purchased with funds from the American Rescue Plan Act, made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the New Hampshire State Library.
