We are preparing the building to reopen to the public for a few days a week starting mid- to late-September. The library has new capacity limits so that we can maintain social distancing, and wearing masks or face coverings will be required. Virtual programming, curbside pick-up, and outside services will continue. Stay tuned for details!

Alternate Trustees may attend meetings, but are only required to vote when their presence will provide a quorum of the Board (3 members present). Alternate Trustees must be Merrimack residents, but should no be current Library employees. If you're interested in applying for one of these positions please submit a letter of interest and qualifications to the Town Manager, Eileen Cabanel at ecabanel@merrimacknh.gov. Candidates are appointed by the Town Council on the Trustees' recommendation.

Currently the Board meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 pm on ZOOM. Occassionally business requires that they meet more often. Meetings are open to the public.
