In lieu of their Annual Turkey Shoot: Night of Raffles, the Friends of the Library will be sponsoring a Holiday Wreath Virtual Auction to support the Library. As you know, the Friends funds several of the Library's Summer Reading Challenge programs and prizes, the outdoor entrance display, Books for Babies gift bags, and the Library banners, among other things.
Friends, staff, community members, and Library Trustees will be donating wreaths spanning a variety of styles and themes. Some will be homemade, others will be bought, and all donated wreaths will be displayed both in the Library and on the Library's Facebook page. Find your favorites and place a bid starting at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 18th. Virtual bidding will take place on the Library's Facebook page between November 18-24. Each wreath will go to the highest bid placed by the close of bidding at 9:00pm on Tuesday, November 24th. Winners will be notified via Facebook messenger and will have until Friday, December 4th, to pick up their wreath at the Library. If a wreath is not picked up, the second highest bidder on the list will be contacted.
